Place concrete in the crawl space.

The concrete had to be pushed and pulled to make it fit.

Sometimes we had too much help.

And then students begin finishing while it was still wet.

This is the last student on the last area to be finished.

Footing Drain...Radon Reduction System

A four inch pipe is placed around the footings.

A stand pipe is installed in case future access is necessary.

Fabric is placed over the drain pipe to keep it from filling with dirt.

Damp proof the foundation

Tar the holes

Roll the sealant.  NOTE: This does not wash off clothes.

Hurry up and wait for the inspector and the concrete trucks.

We had help placing the concrete in the foundation walls.

Concrete in the Footings

It took three concrete trucks to pump the concrete into the footings.

We removed the board and wired the rebar two feet on center.

# 4 bar is laid on the ground, overlapped , and tied

The steel is tied above the ground in the bottom third of the footing.

Now we are ready to place the concrete.

The gravel is leveled and then locked into place with a compactor.

We drug a side of scaffolding around to level it within one inch.

Then we used a compactor to lock the gravel together.
