Soldering Sequence

Here is the sequence for soldering a copper pipe:

Cut the pipe using a tube cutter
Debur or Ream
Clean
Flux
Twist
Use proper support for the pipe & protect the surrounding area
Heat the pipe where you want the solder to flow
Remove the heat and solder
Allow to cool naturally for maximum strength
Wipe with rag

Teflon Tape rules:
Twist with the threads
Overlap by one half
Three laps minimum
Measure the pipe
